Vicki, Treatment Coordinator

As Treatment Coordinator, Vicki will guide you through the New Patient process and help you get on your way to a beautiful smile!  She has over 25 years of experience in the pedo/ortho field, and thoroughly enjoys developing and maintaining a close relationship with our patients and their families.  She feels that it is very rewarding to see the wonderful impact a straight smile can have on someone's self esteem and loves being a part of that process!

Vicki loves to get to know the patients on a personal level and to be able to see and talk with them at their appointments.  "Watching our patients' progress throughout their treatment with Dr. Hawkins' excellent care is fun and extremely satisfying.  He is an amazing orthodontist and person.  I feel blessed to be working with him."

On a personal note, Vicki loves to be with her family and really enjoys being a grandma!  She also enjoys her friends, hiking, reading, gardening and travelling! 

Janene, Scheduling Coordinator

Janene's goal is to make everyone who calls or walks into Hawkins Orthodontics feel special.  She has been in the dental field for about thirty years and has now successfully learned the unique skills needed in setting the schedule of an orthodontic office. 

"I am loving my position as Scheduling Coordinator at Hawkins Orthodontics.  I am always excited to learn something new and orthodontics is a busy and very fun specialty of dentistry for me. I have really enjoyed meeting all our wonderful patients and appreciate being a part of the Hawkins team.  This is a fun, professional office that offers the very best.  It is evident that Dr. Hawkins truly appreciates his staff as well as his patients."

Janene has lived in the Eastside area for the last 29 years, and currently lives on a small hobby farm with her husband.  They have two daughters and three grandchildren.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as reading, knitting, and crafts.

Jill, Financial/Insurance Coordinator

If you need any help with your insurance or other benefits, Jill is the expert.  She actually loves to work with all of the insurance companies and FSA accounts--helping our families receive their maximum benefits.  Numbers are her specialty! 

Jill has been in the dental profession for over eleven years, most of these years in orthodontics.  If there is one word that describes Jill's attitude towards orthodontics and our patients it's "passionate."  "I love how orthodontics gives people huge amounts of confidence and the overall happiness having a beautiful smile brings to their lives.  It is an extremely rewarding career.  I love the people I work with and the patients and their families.  Working for Dr. Hawkins for so long has allowed me to see the kids and their families grow and change."

Jill also has several years of experience as a clinical assistant and has been cross-trained in just about every area of the office.  She lives in Issaquah with her husband and three children.  She loves snowboarding and being with her kids.

Michelle,  Clinical Assistant

Although she's also cross-trained and has experience working with your accounts and insurance claims, with the hiring of Lisa, Michelle has recently been able to move back to our clinical assisting team, where she worked for the prevous five years.  We are fortunate to have such a well-trained, versatile and flexible team who can fill just about any office staffing need when called upon!

With over eight years of experience in the dental field, Michelle feels like every year just keeps getting better and better.  "I work with a staff that makes going to 'work' fun and enjoyable.  I can truly say that each patient is a part of our family, and we all just have a good time."

When Michelle is not at the office, she enjoys being outside as much as possible with her family.  She loves to hike and camp.  She and her husband are blessed with a three-year old daughter.

Patricia, Clinical Coordinator

With over 35 years of experience in the field of orthodontics, Patricia brings to our office a wealth of knowledge and expertise as she manages our team in the clinic, helping our patients get through their treatment as smoothly as possible. 

She is particularly interested in staying on top of the incredible changes in technology over the years.  "Orthodontics has been an extremely rewarding career.  Treatment has become much faster and more comfortable for the patient."  Just like the rest of the team, Patricia really enjoys getting to know each patient and their families.  It is what makes her job interesting and fun.

"I think our office in particular has a very welcoming and neighborly feel to it.  Dr. Hawkins lives close by and stays very connected to his patients and the community."

Patricia and her husband live in Renton and have three grown children.  Her passions are spending time with her family and travelling, particularly to national parks and VEGAS, baby!

Melissa, Clinical Assistant

Melissa has been with Hawkins Orthodontics for seven years.  During her first three years, she was the Scheduling Coordinator.  When the opportunity came to expand her knowledge of orthodontics and become a clinical assistant, she jumped at the chance.  Now she has lots of fun treating (and goofing around with) our awesome patients in the clinical area. 

Who wouldn't like a career where you make people smile?   "I decided this would be a great place to work since I can help others gain the confidence that comes from a beautiful smile.  Dr. Hawkins and his his wife make everyone on their team feel like a million dollars.  I have never worked for a boss who is so generous and caring--it's like family here!"

Melissa lives in Black Diamond with her husband, two boys, and daughter.  Her community is very important to her, so she tries to make a difference by organizing and managing the Black Diamond Cub Scouts, Pack 581.

Kaylee, Clinical Assistant

Kaylee began her dental career as a general dental assistant.  Six years ago, she decided to make a change and became an orthodontic assistant at Hawkins Orthodontics.  She has loved it ever since. 

Orthodontics has been a rewarding and fun career for Kaylee because of the new and diverse challenges it brings to her everyday.  "Dr. Hawkins is a great boss to work for because not only is he passionate about orthodontics, but he cares about each and every part of the team!  I feel very blessed to work for him and this team!

Kaylee has been expanding her hobbies lately, and has found that she loves being involved in lots of different areas.  Some of her favorite things to do in her spare time  are water sports, running, hiking, baking, and beading.

Charlyn, Clinical Assistant

Charlyn came to Hawkins Orthodontics after starting her career in pediatric dentistry.  She loves working with kids but enjoys the autonomy that being an orthodontic assistant has over assisting in a pediatric offce.  Charlyn has two young children, a 3 year old girl and a toddling boy. 

Recently Charlyn has elected to work less in the office to be able to spend more time with her kids.  Though we will miss her we know she's making the right decision.  You will still see her from time to time as she fills in for other team members.
